Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. seeks a technical professional to support process engineering in the Etch/Strip area of a semiconductor facility.

You will ensure lot/product data is known and that Production has qualified equipment ready, supporting production, EES, and process engineering. The role involves analyzing SPC data, determining root causes, and coordinating with engineers to implement corrective actions, calibrations, and new recipes while mentoring operators.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in a semiconductor manufacturing environment, especially Etch/Strip.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and articles.
• Ability to write documentation and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to SPC failures related to equipment qualification, process, or lot measurements.
• Analyze data on SPC violations to determine root cause and disposition lots.
• Identify process excursions and contain, evaluate, and disposition material.
• Provide accurate passdown of equipment, process, and lot status to upcoming shift.
• Troubleshoot out of control tool and product issues.
• Initiate and implement corrective actions for process/equipment problems.
• Write/modify operating specifications and reports for process changes.
• Generate OCAP documents with engineers.
• Develop and document new recipes and document data.
