Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior/Staff/Principal/MTS Engineer in Etch to drive early maturity phase products in PROCT/ADT. You will collaborate across TD, manufacturing, and suppliers to optimize process yield, quality, and cost while preparing products for high-volume production.

International travel to Micron sites is required. Qualifications include a BS in engineering, 5–7+ years in semiconductor processing, and strong data analysis, SPC, and process control skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is required.
• 5-7+ years of troubleshooting, experimental design and data analysis experience.
• Solid understanding of hardware used for semiconductor processing.
• Experience in Etch, Films, or Planarization and process control basics.
• Knowledge of SPC, solid-state device physics, and metrology.
• Interest in applying AI workflows to manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technology Development to align manufacturing roadmap with future tech.
• Engage suppliers and manufacturing teams to meet strategic objectives.
• Improve performance and enable customer qualification for new products.
• Coordinate with EHSS and process safety engineers for compliance.
• Work with suppliers/consultants to benchmark data and knowledge.
• Develop models for unit process and module level road mapping.
• Maintain expertise across multiple process, hardware, or tech areas.
• Support module, process, and hardware optimization for peers.
