Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer for the Etch/Strip area in a semiconductor facility. You will support production, EES, and process engineering to qualify equipment and ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities include responding to SPC issues, analyzing data to identify root causes, and assisting with process improvements and experiments for product transfers and development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher; experience in semiconductor environments preferred.
• Ability to read procedures and write specifications accurately.
• Experience with SPC and data analysis within a clean room.

Responsibilities

• Respond to SPC failures related to equipment qualification or lot measurements.
• Analyze data on SPC violations to determine root cause.
• Make timely decisions on production holds to disposition lots.
• Identify process excursions and manage containment and disposition.
