Ecolibrium3 in Duluth, MN invites applicants for the ETC Energy Navigation and Education Assistant role. The position supports the Energy Program's client services and admin tasks, with a focus on intake, scheduling, and case management, while building knowledge in energy efficiency.

Primary duties include household intake, client paperwork, scheduling energy assessments, and developing multi-step upgrade plans with clients. Service runs April to October, onsite in Duluth.

ETC Energy Navigation and Education Assistant

Ecolibrium3 is a community-based organization in Duluth, MN. Our Energy Training Corps (ETC) aims to increase capacity for our award-winning low-income Energy Efficiency Program, while training members in key building science and energy efficiency protocols to prepare them for careers in the energy industry. This unique position provides support to Ecolibrium3's administrative staff. Primary responsibilities center around Ecolibrium3 Energy Program client support and management. Applicants interested in case management, customer service, and energy efficiency are strongly encouraged to apply! Member in this position serve from April to October. We are a place-based organization, and members are expected to serve onsite in Duluth, MN.

Member Duties :

• Energy Program Intake: Assist in household intake for the Ecolibrium3 Energy Program. This includes program communication via phone call, email, office visits, tabling, and recruiting households for Ecolibrium3 Energy Program services.Client Processing: Assist in the processing of client paperwork, such as income verification, liability documents, and educational pamphlets.
• Scheduling: Schedule home energy assessment and home energy upgrade appointments for eligible households. Create calendar invitations and prepare necessary documents for Ecolibrium3 staff and AmeriCorps members to perform work.
• Case Management: Meet with household clientele to develop multi-step personalized energy upgrade plans. This includes explaining data presented in home energy assessments reports, identifying potential funding opportunities to cover upgrade costs, and continued one-on-one support for clients as they proceed with upgrades over time.
