The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife seeks an Endangered/Threatened (ET) Species Data Manager for the Data Administration Group in the Habitat Conservation Section. This role will develop and maintain GIS databases, helping field biologists enter new observations, and map habitat and regulatory areas around observation locations.

You will also provide GIS support to Department staff, with little to no field work expected in this position.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Fisheries or Wildlife Management, or related field and two years of related experience.
• Experience creating and managing data in ESRI’s ArcPro GIS software, building Survey123/FieldMap forms, dashboards, and StoryMaps on ArcGIS Online.

• Develop and maintain GIS databases for Endangered/Threatened species.
• Assist field biologists with entering new observations.
• Map suitable habitat and regulatory areas around observation locations.
• Provide GIS support to Department staff.
