Job summary

World Bank in Washington, DC seeks an ET Consultant to join the Pension team within Corporate Solutions. You will design, develop, and coordinate solutions for Pension Administration, collaborating with clients and specialists to meet system needs.

You will analyze requirements, develop and troubleshoot enterprise apps, document architectures, and participate in Agile ceremonies, with emphasis on security, data governance, and AI-enabled improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related technical field with 3 years of experience in software development or related work.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise applications using modern languages and frameworks.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills for analysis, reconciliation, troubleshooting, validation, optimization, and reporting.
• Experience with web applications, workflow automation, REST APIs, JSON, XML, web services, authentication, and enterprise integrations.
• Ability to use AI to learn and develop faster, troubleshoot issues, prototype solutions and incorporate in business solutions.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, SAP, Dynamics, Salesforce, or comparable systems is desirable.
• Strong communication, customer service, collaboration, prioritization, and commitment to security, data governance, privacy, quality, AI governance, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, and coordinate solutions for Pension Administration system needs.
• Analyze business requirements and recommend effective solutions working closely with clients and functional experts.
• Develop and troubleshoot enterprise applications, workflows, APIs, integrations, and database components.
• Document application architecture, integration requirements, data mappings, interface specifications, and technical workflows.
• Estimate delivery timelines, identify risks, propose mitigations, and coordinate resolution across technical teams.
• Create test plans, support implementation, investigate production and data issues, and perform post-implementation reviews.
• Participate in Agile planning, backlog refinement, Scrum ceremonies, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
