Job summary

Morisey-Dart Group is seeking an Estimator for vertical concrete construction in Fort Myers, FL. You will prepare accurate, competitive bids for commercial GCs and custom homebuilders, covering vertical structural concrete, masonry, and site concrete.

You will work closely with the owner, project management team, and field leadership to influence project pursuits, pricing, and buyout decisions while running a high-visibility preconstruction pipeline.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience in vertical concrete, masonry/block, and site concrete.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Takeoff and estimating software.
• Solid understanding of concrete and masonry means, labor productivity, and material costs.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed estimates for structural concrete, reinforced concrete, CMU/block, masonry, and site concrete scopes.
• Review plans, specs, addenda, and scopes to identify requirements, risks, and exclusions.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors; prepare clear, competitive proposals and bid packages.
• Manage multiple active bids and deadlines, with a strong pipeline of preconstruction activity.
• Respond to bidder RFIs, track addenda, and coordinate bid clarifications with general contractors and clients.
• Partner with Project Managers on handoff of awarded projects, including budgets, scope breakdowns, and buyout information.

Led by a dynamic, mid-career executive, the company specializes in turnkey structural concrete, masonry, and flatwork, combining decades of industry experience and long-standing client relationships with a strong focus on quality, safety, scheduling, and execution.

Seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids for commercial GCs and custom homebuilders consisting of vertical structural concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry, and site concrete. This is a high-visibility role where your numbers directly influence company growth. Working closely with the owner, project management team, and field leadership, you'll have a real voice in what the company pursues, how projects are priced, and ultimately, the work the company wins.

Requirements

• 5+ years of estimating experience specifically in vertical concrete, masonry/block, and site concrete .
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Takeoff and estimating software
• Solid understanding of concrete and masonry means, methods, labor productivity, and material costs.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
• Stable work history and ability to successfully complete a drug screening and background check.

Salary: $100-150K + bonus
