Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking an experienced estimator in Paramus, NJ to prepare quotes for doors, frames and hardware. You will review drawings, coordinate with customers and contractors, and drive accurate pricing and timelines.

The role requires strong reading of blueprints, effective communication with internal teams, and strict adherence to governance policies. You will help improve hit rates and contribute to a safe, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years estimating experience or 1+ year if coming directly from hollow metal/doors industry.
• Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings, or engineering drawings.
• Comfort working directly with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Working knowledge of the construction or building materials industry (commercial preferred).
• Exposure to building codes and labeling requirements is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/order management systems.
• Compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
