Job summary

First Onsite is seeking an Estimator to create accurate project estimates using Xactimate and Excel, gathering measurements, notes, plans, and photos with Operations to build the scope and preliminary budgets.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in restoration/construction, 3 current certifications with Xactimate certification within 6 months, ability to read blueprints, and a valid driver’s license. High school diploma required, degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in restoration/construction.
• 3 current certifications; Xactimate certification within 6 months.
• Able to read blueprints and architectural plans.
• Skilled in drawings, specs, documents and take-offs.
• Experience ensuring code compliance.
• Cross-trained in DR/GC.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to define project scope and execute work plans.
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, crews, and job site operations.
• Oversee budgets, estimates, and change orders to ensure profitability.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and job activity records.
• Produce accurate estimates using Xactimate, Excel, or other software.
• Prepare project handoff documents and coordinate with Operations.
• Provide 24/7 response when needed and uphold a clean, safe job site.
