Job summary

Restoration 1 is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in San Antonio. This role writes, supports, negotiates, and collects on invoices for water mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke remediation, packouts/pack-ins, contents cleaning, and prepares accurate estimates for reconstruction jobs.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and proficient in Xactimate with solid knowledge of insurance claims and collections.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in the property restoration industry.
• 4+ years of hands-on Xactimate experience writing, defending and collecting; prefer non-vendor experience.
• Expert knowledge of insurance claims, estimating, and collections.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• IICRC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and scope water, fire, mold, contents and reconstruction projects.
• Write accurate, profitable estimates in Xactimate.
• Submit, negotiate, support, and collect invoices in a timely manner.
• Build strong relationships with adjusters, clients, and contractors.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful job completion.
• Communicate effectively with customers and set clear expectations.

About the Role

Restoration 1 is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team.
