Job summary

Restoration 1 of Texas Hill Country & San Antonio North is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in San Antonio, TX. You will inspect, scope, and write loss invoices for water, fire, mold, contents, and reconstruction projects, and prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate.

You will submit, negotiate, support, and collect invoices promptly while building strong relationships with adjusters, clients, and contractors, and collaborating with project managers to ensure completed

Qualifications

• 4+ years in the property restoration industry.
• 4+ years of hands-on Xactimate experience writing, defending and collecting; prefer non-vendor experience.
• MUST have experience writing, defending and collecting for ALL losses related to: Water, Fire/Smoke, Mold, Contents Pack Out/Pack In, Contents cleaning, etc.
• Expert knowledge of insurance claims, estimating, and collections.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• IICRC certifications are a plus.

This role is responsible for writing, supporting, negotiating, and collecting on invoices for water mitigation, mold remediation, fire and smoke remediation, packouts/pack-ins, contents cleaning, and preparing accurate estimates for reconstruction jobs. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and skilled in both Xactimate and insurance claim processes.
