Job summary

ComForCare is seeking a seasoned Reconstruction Project Manager/Estimator to lead restoration projects from estimate through completion in the San Antonio area. You will manage residential and commercial projects, coordinate with insurance adjusters, and ensure projects come in on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in restoration project management, experience with Xactimate, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in restoration reconstruction.
• Hands-on experience with Xactimate estimating (preferred).
• Strong understanding of the insurance claims process and working with adjusters.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial restoration reconstruction projects (water, fire, mold, wind)
• Prepare detailed bids, scopes of work, budgets, and purchase orders using Xactimate and other company tools
• Manage subcontractors and vendor installations from kickoff to closeout
• Responsible for job cost reports and keeping projects at or under budget
• Deliver excellent client communication and customer service
• Coordinate field change orders, materials, and contract documents
• Work closely with insurance adjusters and claims teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with the General Manager on bid requirements and project priorities
• Ensure all personnel follow safety regulations and company procedures

About the Role

We are an experienced and growing water, mold, and fire restoration company expanding into full reconstruction services. We are looking for a seasoned Reconstruction Project Manager/Estimator who can own projects from initial estimate through completion. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable working with insurance adjusters and claims, and take pride in delivering projects on time and on budget, we want to talk.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in restoration reconstruction
• Hands-on experience with Xactimate estimating (preferred)
• Experience as a non-vendor contractor (preferred)
• Solid understanding of the insurance claims process and working with adjusters
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ball
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills — you'll be the face of the project to clients, subs, and insurers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• WRT and/or ASD certification
• Existing vendor and subcontractor relationships in the San Antonio market
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
