Job summary

Unknown NYC painting company is seeking an Estimator / Project Manager to join our team and drive successful painting projects. You will lead estimating, bidding, and project management from site visits through completion, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

The position will be responsible forestimating, bidding, and managing painting projectsfrom initial site visit through completion. Responsibilities include takeoffs, pricing labor and materials, preparing proposals, coordinating manpower and materials, managing schedules and budgets, handling change orders, and communicating with General Contractors and clients.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in painting, construction estimating, or project management preferred.


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Ability to read plans and understand construction scopes.


• Comfortable working with clients, GCs, vendors, and field crews.


• Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, Procore, or similar software is a plus.

We are also open to hiring a junior candidate who has a strong work ethic and wants to learn.Construction or painting experience is a plus, but we are willing totrain and teach the right personthe estimating and project management side of the business.
