Job summary

Hiring Company to Reveal at Interview is seeking an estimator/project manager to join our painting division. The candidate should be self-motivated with strong product knowledge and field experience, and must hold a driver’s license to operate under our policy.

You will estimate costs, manage residential and some commercial projects, coordinate with contractors and staff, and ensure high-quality execution while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex project requirements and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on quality and time.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven experience as a project estimator in painting or similar field.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to determine job goals and needs and accurately estimate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses.
• Schedule, prepare, and manage residential and some commercial work; directly manage employees’ time and progress.
• Collaborate with other project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Provide outstanding customer service and serve as a trusted advocate for the business; handle inquiries and requests professionally.
• Maintain project-related records and documentation with clear communication to customers and vendors.
• Bill out jobs and assist with invoices; stay updated on industry trends, costs, and estimation techniques.
