Job summary

Confidential Employer in Gary, Indiana is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and manage impactful projects from planning through execution on-site.

You will analyze contracts, estimate costs, coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Competitive salary $90,000–$120,000 per year with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or 5+ years of PM/estimating experience.
• Experience overseeing labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, project budgets, and schedules.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HCSS HeavyBid.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract documents, plans, and specifications to evaluate project work scopes
• Verify work quantities and assign appropriate resources and productivity rates
• Evaluate design options and recommend solutions to secure work
• Create and submit bid proposals; negotiate and secure contracts
• Schedule equipment, personnel, materials, and subcontractors in cooperation with Project Superintendents
• Monitor daily job costs and implement cost control plans
• Manage project finances, review and approve pay estimates, and authorize project transactions
• Ensure safety programs, company procedures, and quality standards are met
• Maintain positive client relationships and ensure satisfaction
