Job summary

Pave America in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to accurately estimate costs for asphalt and concrete projects and manage bids from start to finish. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

You will analyze plans, gather data for billing, prepare quotes, coordinate with customers and subcontractors, monitor budgets, and ensure projects meet schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in road construction, paving, or concrete is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must be able to work within multiple computer systems.
• An Associate's Degree or higher is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimates the cost of new asphalt and concrete and any repairs to asphalt and concrete roadways and driveways.
• Gathers contact and contract data for billing and contract purposes.
• Prepares and submits bids.
• Generate quotes for various projects, including those for Property Management Companies, Homeowner Associations, and Commercial/Retail Managers.
• Communicate with customers and subcontractors to schedule work and manage change orders.
