Are you an experienced estimator with a strong foundation in commercial interiors and a passion for driving preconstruction strategy? We're seeking a Mid-Level Estimator to join our growing team, supporting high-end office, retail, and institutional fit-outs across NYC.

This role is ideal for candidates with 3-6 years of estimating experience looking to take ownership of key scopes, interface with clients and subs, and help lead preconstruction efforts from early budgeting through final GMP proposals.

What You'll Do

• Lead quantity takeoffs and cost estimating efforts across multiple trades, including architectural finishes, millwork, MEP systems, and specialty items.
• Develop conceptual, schematic, DD, and CD-level budgets and detailed estimates for interior renovation and fit-out projects.
• Manage bid solicitations and scope reviews with subcontractors; perform bid leveling and cost reconciliation.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and ownership to validate assumptions and integrate value engineering strategies.
• Support pricing exercises and logistics reviews for multiple active pursuits and negotiated contracts.
• Maintain and expand internal cost databases, subcontractor relationships, and historical benchmarking data.
• Contribute to internal handoff and buyout processes in partnership with project management and field teams.

What We're Looking For

• 3-6 years of estimating experience with a general contractor or construction manager.
• Proven experience pricing commercial interiors - including workplace, healthcare, higher education, or retail projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, bid packages, phasing, and trade scope coordination.
• Proficiency in takeoff and estimating tools (Bluebeam, OST, Planswift, Excel); knowledge of Procore or similar platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead subcontractor conversations and internal reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• NYC market familiarity strongly preferred.
