Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Estimator in Training in Florida to learn estimating and repair planning alongside senior estimators. You will handle damage mapping, photo capture, and customer communication while coordinating with production teams to ensure accurate estimates and timely updates.

The role emphasizes strong communication, computer literacy, and adherence to the WOW plan, with training on CCC One tools and insurance-related processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer at repair drop-off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and take initial photos.
• Upload photos and notes to CCC One and note arrival times.
• Notify production and place vehicle in queue; verify teardown estimate.
• Finalize estimate using the Repair Planning Template and set promise date.
• Call customers to review estimates and provide updates per policy.
