Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Greenville, NC is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn from our Estimator and prepare damage estimates for repair in accordance with insurance partner and company guidelines. The role also focuses on communicating Gerber's value to customers to achieve a high close rate.

Key tasks include damage mapping, photography, uploading to CCC One, setting promised dates, and coordinating with production and claims teams to ensure accurate estimates and timely customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must currently possess or successfully complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop-off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and identify WOW opportunities.
• Prepare and finalize estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Upload photos and notes to CCC One with arrival time and details.
• Coordinate with production to ensure correct notations and final parts list.
• Call and review estimates with customers and set promised dates.
• Update customers regularly per management standards.
• Assist insurance adjusters and claim re-inspectors.
