Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Estimator II for its Louisville, KY operations. This role estimates drywall, framing, acoustics, and interior finishes, performs takeoffs, and collaborates with project teams to win bids.

The position requires 5+ years of estimating experience, strong customer relations, and proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, PlanSwift, and Procore. Competitive pay and bonus opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience estimating construction projects.
• Experience estimating or managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work, specifications, materials, and methods.
• Has a record of establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimate.
• Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for work outside of our self-performing group.
• Understand market conditions to establish margins and risk.
• Involvement in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project teams.
• Hand off secured projects to the Operations team.
