Job summary

Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI) seeks an experienced Drywall and Framing Estimator II for its Albany, NY operations. You will estimate PCI scopes, perform quantitative takeoffs, establish labor productivities, and maintain vendor relationships for competitive pricing.

You'll collaborate with project teams, assist in bid reviews, and manage contract administration for secured projects. A minimum 5 years’ estimating experience and proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and Procore are

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years’ experience estimating construction projects.
• Experience with estimating or managing specialty scopes of construction.
• Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
• Establish labor productivities for estimate.
• Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive pricing.
• Solicit subcontractor pricing for work outside of self-performing group.
• Understand market conditions for establishing margin percentages.
• Participate in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project teams.
• Assist in customer alignment objectives by maintaining positive customer relations.
• Contract administration for secured projects.
• Utilize wage and benefit schedules.
• Hand off secured projects to the Operations team.
• Assist in change orders and billings as needed.
• Support other Estimating team members for product line collaboration.
