Job summary

HDR is seeking an Estimator I to develop and present scope and cost data for construction projects. You will support planning, preliminary studies, and proposals by evaluating estimates with a focus on accuracy and completeness.

You will work with design and construction teams to gather scope data and refine estimates, applying your knowledge of EPC methods and MS Office tools. A Civil/Construction degree and related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Fundamental knowledge of General Contracting, EPC construction methods and industry practices.
• Familiar with cost estimating software and project controls tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sponsorship for US employment is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, compile, and present scope and cost data for construction and project estimates.
• Work on estimates for planning, evaluation, or proposal purposes.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of estimates within defined parameters.
• Coordinate with design and construction staff to gather data for estimates.
• Perform other duties as needed.
