Job summary

HDR is seeking an Estimator I to develop cost data and support planning, evaluation, and proposals for complex projects. You will work with design and construction teams to extract scope, create accurate estimates, and ensure schedule alignment.

The role requires a Civil/Construction degree or equivalent, familiarity with EPC methods, strong MS Office and cost-estimating tools, and excellent communication. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of General Contracting, EPC construction methods and industry practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, cost estimating and project control software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sponsorship (visa) for US employment is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, compile, and present scope and cost data for construction estimates.
• Prepare estimates for planning, evaluation, or proposal purposes.
• Interpret construction plans and specs to develop cost estimates.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of estimates within defined parameters.
• Coordinate with design and construction staff for scope and schedule data.
• Perform other duties as needed.
