Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Littleton, CO is seeking an Estimator to act as the fulcrum between customer needs and profitability by accurately summing project costs from drawings and technical documents to create pricing proposals.

The role collaborates with sales, engineering, production and transportation to complete take-offs, produce quotes ahead of due dates, and manage multiple RFQs with disciplined project cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
• 3+ years of recent construction or bidding experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete take-offs and quotes for RFQs from the outside sales team.
• Prepare and send quotes to customers before due dates.
• Communicate with customers on quantity verification and quote structure.
• Collaborate with sales, production, engineering and transportation on proposals.
• Review drawings and specifications to prepare cost and labor estimates.
• Support bid development with vendors and historical data.
• Own the bid package with OSR and ensure completeness.
