Fiore & Sons, Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead cost estimates for civil construction projects in Colorado. You will review drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to develop competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
• Problem solving skills to identify causes, gather information, generate solutions, and resolve issues.
• Knowledge of Civil, Demolition, Sitework, Wet Utilities estimating techniques and cost control processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and prioritization under deadlines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and other construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents, analyze scope, and perform quantity takeoffs for estimates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to develop complete proposals.
• Prepare detailed proposal specifications and schedules for owner presentation.
• Manage bidding process and maintain accurate cost comparisons and back-ups.
• Maintain files with current unit prices from suppliers for estimate figures.
