Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Pasadena, MD to provide an exceptional customer experience while creating estimates and coordinating repairs with insurance companies.

You will document repairs, inform customers, and align with the team to achieve KPIs and efficient repairs. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required; I-CAR training is encouraged.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Awareness of where to look for answers.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Compliance for DRP’s required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
  • Willing to complete I-CAR Training.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

  • Document and update every customer interaction with pertinent details.
  • Provide accurate and timely information, guiding customers through the repair process and delivering excellent service.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics.
  • Follow WOW Operating Ways for customer drop-offs, repair planning, communication and delivery.
  • Communicate customer requests to appropriate team members.
  • Participate in daily production walks with the management team and attend required meetings.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
