Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into take-offs and estimates.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices for partitions.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration with PMs, vendors, and field teams.
• Organizational and time management to handle multiple estimates and deadlines.
• Prior Estimator experience in commercial construction; partitions is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Prepare comprehensive bid packages and change order estimates.
• Review vendor and subcontractor quotes and analyze bids.
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and field teams to clarify scope and changes.
• Maintain cost databases, update pricing and productivity assumptions; support tool improvements.
