Job summary
Elite Executive Solutions is seeking an experienced Estimator for high-value commercial and mission-critical projects in the Phoenix market. This role focuses on developing credible budgets from limited design data and refining them into competitive proposals.
You will lead takeoffs, cost models and subcontractor reviews, while mentoring junior estimators and coordinating with operations on awarded scopes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of commercial estimating or preconstruction experience.
- GC background preferred; independent leadership of complex pursuits.
- Estimating for projects exceeding $25M; design-build, GMP, CM/GC experience.
- Advanced Excel with cost models; proficiency in takeoff tools.
- Mentor estimators and present reviews; degree or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual, schematic, design-development and construction-document estimates.
- Develop quantity takeoffs and pricing across civil, structural, architectural and MEP scopes.
- Document assumptions, exclusions, allowances and escalation.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor proposals; reconcile gaps.
- Lead estimate reviews and hand off awarded scope to operations.
