Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate bids for commercial entry door systems. You will support the sales team, develop project cost estimates, and rely on Excel, Bluebeam, and internal software to deliver timely proposals.

The role requires knowledge of door products, pricing variances, and strong communication skills to ensure profitable sales and positive customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial door work experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational and mathematical skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate; working knowledge of Microsoft Office desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops estimates and bids using DH Pace processes and estimating software and other business programs (Excel, Bluebeam, internal software).
• Develops knowledge of door products, functionality and pricing variations for specific jobs.
• Educates sales team on product options and assists customers in product selection to ensure successful outcomes.
• Performs effective quote review, scope creation, material lists, and product selections to generate accurate project cost estimates and bids.
• Estimates advanced and complex projects of limited size with clear proposals for manager review.
• Builds strong relationships with vendor contacts and supports related duties as assigned.
