Job summary

Build Partners USA LLC in Houston seeks an experienced Estimator to lead the commercial estimating function for the Houston market. You will own pricing from takeoff to final bid and build strong relationships with local subcontractors.

You’ll manage conceptual estimates, analyze subcontractor pricing, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams using remote tools. A deep knowledge of the Houston cost landscape and 5–7 years in the field are required for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Based in Houston with an established local subcontractor network.
• Strong knowledge of the Houston market and current pricing.
• Experience with conceptual and schematic estimating.
• Ability to complete takeoffs, obtain subcontractor pricing, and build estimates independently.
• Proven ability to carry projects from initial pricing through final bid submission.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Autodesk ProEst is preferred.

Compensation: $140k-$175k + Auto Allowance + Bonus + Tech Package + 401(k) Match + PTO + Tech package

A respected commercial General Contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in Houston. This is a major opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of an entire market, establish the company’s local estimating function, and help build out its growing Houston office.

Your Responsibility:

• Lead estimating efforts for commercial projects across the Houston market
• Manage conceptual and schematic estimates from initial takeoff through final bid
