Job summary

PACE Systems, a commercial contracting firm, is seeking an Estimator for Advanced Facilities & Controlled Environments. This hybrid-role involves leading preconstruction, estimating for cleanrooms, semiconductor facilities, data centers, and mission-critical environments across the United States.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of estimating experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with BIM, Bluebeam, OST, and Procore-like tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mission critical, or specialty projects.
• Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong budgeting, GMP development, and bid management knowledge.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with clients and leadership.
• OSHA 30 or equivalent safety awareness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design-development, and hard-bid cost estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models.
• Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Develop bid analyses, pricing packages, and scope narratives.
• Support client interviews, proposals, and presentations.
• Communicate estimate assumptions, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
