Job summary

Cox Engineering in Randolph, MA is seeking an Estimator to join our estimating team. You will develop cost estimates based on project scope, gather pricing data, and collaborate with project managers to optimize costs.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to understand scope of work and requirements.
• Develop cost estimates based on scope, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and availability for materials and equipment.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals with detailed cost breakdowns and timelines.
