Job summary

Cox Engineering is seeking a Chief Estimator to join our team in Randolph, MA. This leadership role will oversee the estimating department and guide the team in delivering accurate, timely estimates across trades.

The Chief Estimator will establish standardized procedures, mentor staff, and collaborate with Preconstruction, Operations, Sales, and Business Development to drive project success. A strong mechanical background and proficiency with estimating software are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mechanical estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the estimating process for all trades.
• Establish and sustain standardized procedures for scope reviews.
• Maintain customer relations and bid proposals.
• Provide training and mentorship to the estimating team.
• Conduct cost analyses and inventory schedule reviews.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Operations, Sales & Business Development.
