Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates, budgets and bid proposals for commercial interior projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes and subcontractor/vendor pricing.
• Work closely with project leadership and the estimating team to develop competitive bids.
• Identify opportunities, risks and cost-saving strategies throughout the estimating process.
• Help develop winning bids while maintaining strong project margins.
• Be a key part of an established in-house estimating team.

We’re working with a well-established General Contractor in Manhattan looking to add an experienced Estimator to their growing team.

About the Role

They’re looking for a seasoned construction estimator with 10+ years of experience, ideally someone who has spent the majority of their career working in the New York market and understands the pace, competition, and demands of Manhattan commercial interiors. This is a great opportunity for an experienced estimator who wants to be a key part of a stable, established GC with an experienced estimating team and a strong pipeline of commercial interior work.
