Job summary

Target Hospitality is seeking a Construction Estimator to lead the estimating process from inception to completion, including collecting sub-contractor proposals and creating cost estimates and material takeoffs. The role collaborates with the project team to ensure accurate and competitive pricing and pre-construction budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field, or 5+ years of estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret conceptual drawings and construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the pre-construction budget and estimate through the estimating process.
• Conduct preliminary cost analysis and value engineering.
• Evaluate and analyze project documents, specifications, and plans.
• Collaborate with the Director of Construction and sub-contractors to ensure accurate and competitive estimates/pricing.
• Manage subcontractor bidding and evaluating process.
• Conduct pre-bid site visits to assess field conditions and project feasibility.
• Provide support to project team during the construction phase.
• Continually update and maintain the estimating database.
