Upgrade Resources in Oklahoma City is seeking an Estimating Manager for commercial construction projects. The role focuses on preparing cost estimates for bids, developing economical build methods, and delivering comprehensive estimates in collaboration with operations and trade partners.

The position requires 3+ years of estimating experience on commercial projects, a relevant degree or equivalent, strong Excel and estimating software skills, and a willingness to travel.

Formación

• 3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Established, positive trade partner relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, construction estimating software, and reading drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight, and work non‑traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare complex cost estimates for competitive bids and negotiated proposals.
• Lead vendor and subcontractor bid solicitation, plan and specification distribution, pricing, and coordination.
• Read and outline project specifications; develop and manage scopes of work for all trades, including the responsibility matrix.
• Collaborate with operations and field staff during preconstruction to develop more economical ways to build.
• Participate in project procurement presentations and deliver professional, comprehensive packages at the completion of each major estimate.
• Improve project profitability by applying knowledge of insurance structures, fees, and rates.
