Vertis Wealth, LLC seeks an Estate and Business Attorney to assist our tax and wealth management teams with estate planning on a non-exclusive basis. You will work directly with our clients and have access to our team of internal Legal Directors and other professionals.

Typical duties include drafting revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds, and LLCs. You will meet clients virtually or in person, stay current with state laws, and use our templates to

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Michigan; entry level attorneys considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Innovative and creative approach to estate planning.
• E&O insurance required.
• Ability to lead and be decisive.
• Time management and organization.
• Collaborative skills to work with tax, business, and financial advisors.

Responsibilities

• Receive hand-offs from Legal Directors to provide estate planning services.
• Meet with clients virtually or in-person to confirm estate planning needs.
• Draft estate planning documents (trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds, LLCs).
• Utilize templates or develop methods for documents.
• Stay up-to-date with state laws.
