Job summary

Vertis Wealth, LLC is seeking an attorney to assist our tax and wealth management teams with estate planning on a non-exclusive basis. You will work directly with our clients and will have access to our team of internal Legal Directors and other professionals.

Responsibilities include meeting virtually or in-person with clients to confirm estate planning needs, drafting revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds, LLCs, and staying up-to-date with state laws

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in the state where the job is posted.
• Ability to conduct client meetings virtually and in person.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Innovative and creative approach to estate planning.
• Ability to lead and be decisive in client engagements.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Collaborative with tax, business, and financial advisors.

Responsibilities

• Receive hand-offs from Legal Directors to provide estate planning services for clients.
• Meet with clients virtually or in person to confirm estate planning needs.
• Draft estate planning documents using templates or own methods (revocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds, LLCs).
• Stay up-to-date with latest state laws.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals and expand client relationships.
