Job summary

Jobot, a boutique Maryland-based estate planning law firm, is seeking an experienced attorney to join the team in North Bethesda. The role requires a JD from an accredited school, active MD Bar (VA/DC a plus), and at least five years in estate planning, including wills, probate, gifting, and tax planning.

You will draft and amend documents, advise clients on long-term plans, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive estate planning services.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active MD State Bar member; VA and DC a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in estate planning law.
• Strong knowledge of wills, probate, gifting, and tax planning.
• Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and cases in a fast pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on estate planning matters including wills, probate, gifting, and tax planning.
• Draft, review, and amend estate planning documents.
• Collaborate with clients to develop effective estate plans meeting long-term goals.
• Stay updated on estate planning laws and regulations.
• Conduct thorough research to support legal proceedings for clients.
• Represent clients in probate court and handle estate administration.
• Develop strong client relationships and deliver excellent service.
• Collaborate with firm attorneys to ensure comprehensive client service.
