Jobot, a boutique Maryland-based estate planning law firm, is seeking an experienced attorney to join the team in North Bethesda. The role requires a JD from an accredited school, active MD Bar (VA/DC a plus), and at least five years in estate planning, including wills, probate, gifting, and tax planning.

You will draft and amend documents, advise clients on long-term plans, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive estate planning services.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Provide comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of estate planning matters including wills, probate, gifting, and tax planning.
2. 2. Draft, review, and amend legal documents related to estate planning.
3. 3. Collaborate with clients to develop effective estate plans that meet their long-term goals.
4. 4. Stay abreast of current trends and changes in estate planning laws and regulations.
5. 5. Conduct thorough research to support legal proceedings and advise clients accordingly.
6. 6. Represent clients in probate court and handle estate administration processes.
7. 7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
8. 8. Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to ensure a comprehensive service to all clients.

Qualifications

1. 1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. 2. Active member of the MD State Bar, VA and DC a plus.
3. 3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning law.
4. 4. Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to wills, probate, gifting, and tax planning.
5. 5. Exceptional research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. 6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
