Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Landscaper / Groundskeeper for a luxury estate in Saratoga, CA. This full-time, non-exempt role offers hourly pay with strong basics in care, maintenance, and grounds management.

You will proactively plan workloads, manage irrigation awareness, perform planting, trimming, cleaning, and minor repairs, and coordinate with the Property Estate Manager to oversee external contractors.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in high-end private home care, maintenance, landscaping, and grounds management.
• Knowledge of landscaping, gardening, and safe chemical use.
• Familiar with safety protocols and proficient with power tools and landscaping equipment.
• HVAC/electrical/plumbing trades are a plus.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Proactively plan and schedule work duties independently or with team/management.
• Follow procedures, use a to-do list, and create lists for property care and enhancement.
• Maintain landscaping and garden areas—planting, trimming, fertilizing, mowing, etc.
• Identify and troubleshoot irrigation issues and piping problems.
• Keep outdoor spaces, furniture, fixtures and equipment clean.
• Power wash sidewalks, gutters, walls, patios, decks, and more.
• Assist with inventory management and organize tools in sheds/garages.
• Oversee external contractors and vendors in collaboration with the Property Estate Manager.
• Conduct minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and painting if qualified.
• Acquire supplies from hardware/landscaping stores as needed.
• Assist with packaging logistics and waste handling.
• Sort and remove trash, shred, and clean bins as part of sanitation duties.
• Support pest control efforts, including bait stations for rodents.
• Communicate plans and solutions clearly with management and maintenance staff.
• Provide clients with guidance on equipment maintenance and record-keeping.
• Be flexible and assist with diverse tasks as requested by Principals or the manager.

Duties

• Communicate effectively with the Property Estate Manager and maintenance staff, providing clear plans and solutions to any issues promptly and professionally.
• Offer clients support and guidance on maintaining their equipment and keeping records.
• Be prepared to assist with diverse tasks as requested by the Principals or the manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

• Previous experience in high-end private home care, maintenance, landscaping, and grounds management, or a similar role.
• Knowledgeable in landscaping, gardening, and safe chemical use.
• Familiar with safety protocols and proficient in using power tools and landscaping equipment.
• Trade skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or similar are a plus.
• Physical stamina and mobility. Able to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Background checks and legal work status in the US are required.
• Ready for pre-employment health screenings, including drug tests
• Must have a valid Driver's License. Reliable transportation is required for daily commute to Saratoga, CA.
