This role requires a unique blend of outdoor property maintenance, light interior support, and hands-on mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver who is comfortable executing minor repairs, troubleshooting household systems, managing specialized contractors, and navigating the unique challenges of a rural Bay Area property.
Minor Household Repairs: Perform hands-on minor home repairs, basic troubleshooting, light carpentry, fixture adjustments, and routine preventative maintenance throughout the main residence and outdoor structures.
Vendor Sourcing & Management: Take full ownership of sourcing, vetting, and managing specialized service contractors. For complex or major property needs (e.g., fumigation, structural repairs, specialized HVAC or roof maintenance), identify the best service providers, collect competitive quotes, and oversee on-site execution.
Logistics & Interior Styling Assistance: Coordinate white-glove furniture deliveries directly with interior designers. Assist with unboxing, moving, placing, and assembling furniture or heavy decor items safely.
Home Depot & Supply Sourcing: Independently source, purchase, and restock maintenance tools, hardware, replacement parts, and exterior care supplies as needed.

Irrigation Oversight: Monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot the estate’s automated sprinkler system; care for drought-resistant native landscaping.
Pool Care: Execute basic daily pool skimming and routine clearance; oversee scheduled visits from specialized pool maintenance vendors.
Daily Housekeeping: Provide light cleaning and maintenance for the 3 primary rooms heavily utilized by the principals. Conduct rotational dusting, surface care, and routine upkeep throughout the rest of the 6,000 sq. ft. residence.

Technical Skills: Solid hands-on knowledge of home systems, basic repair tools, groundskeeping machinery, and irrigation systems.
Vendor Project Management: Demonstrated ability to research, interview, schedule, and supervise outside contractors for major services (e.g., fumigation, trade work).
Physical Capability & Safety: Comfortable lifting heavy furniture, operating outdoor equipment safely, and handling active physical work across a 10-acre property.
Discretion & Professionalism: Exceptional autonomy, respect for personal boundaries in a quiet, low-occupancy home, and a clean DMV record for running errands.
