Qualifications

• 5+ years in landscape maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience managing crews and overseeing landscape enhancement projects.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• QAC certificate and Arborist certificate.
• ReScape certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field crews across multiple sites.
• Provide on‑the‑job skills training and development.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and terminations.
• Ensure safety, time entry, and payroll accuracy.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractors.
• Maintain equipment, yard organization, and inventory.
• Maintain proactive client communication and high service standards.
• Promote sustainable landscape practices and industry knowledge.
• Follow the Injury and Prevention Program and safety procedures.
• Report progress to the Maintenance Director.

We are seeking a versatile, high‑performing Landscaping Maintenance Manager to join our growing team. In this full account lifecycle role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for high‑end residential landscape maintenance account portfolios. If you are a landscape professional who loves fine gardening & horticulture, thrives on proactive estate care & enhancements, and excels at high‑touch client relations, this role is for you.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead, Manage and hold Crew Leaders Accountable.
• Provide on‑the‑job skills training and development.
• Evaluate Field Staff performance, conduct quarterly conversations and as‑needed discipline.
• Responsible for Field Staff recruitment, onboarding and terminations.
• Responsible for daily time entry, receipts & work ticket completion.
• Responsible for weekly time card management & submission for payroll.
• Rotate daily to job sites to ensure high standards of safety and quality.
• Provide onsite Client communication.
• Order, schedule and procure timely and accurate material deliveries.
• Coordinate all subcontractors and equipment requirements.
• Manage fleet, tools & equipment, yard organization & efficiency and material inventory.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging trends in sustainable landscape, water conservation and other relevant horticultural practices through continuing education and industry participation.
• Ensure that company production rates and standards of quality workmanship are met or exceeded.
• Enforce the company’s Injury and Prevention Program to promote a safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Director.
• Operate equipment and vehicles in a safe and proper manner.
• Serve as a member of the Heritage Landscapes Team and participate in a highly cooperative and positive manner.
• Communicate with the Maintenance Director regarding progress of tasks. Interact with Clients and other Team Members in a proactive and professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ in landscape maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory position and landscape enhancement & irrigation project management.
• Experience managing crews.
• Experience training, evaluating and making employment decisions (hiring, terminations)
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Valid California Drivers License.
• Qualified Pesticide Applicator Certificate (QAC).
• Arborist Certificate.
• ReScape Certificate.
