Job summary

Challenge Mfg. Company LLC is seeking a 1st Shift Weld Production Operator for the Cusseta, AL plant.

The role involves setting up and operating resistance spot welders and power presses to weld, trim, punch and shape metal parts, with emphasis on quality and safety, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, the ability to stand 8–10 hours, and proficient English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to stand 8–10 hours daily.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates resistance spot welders and/or power press.
• Welds, trims, punches, shapes, notches, draws or crimps metal/stock.
• Inspects parts for conformance to specifications and reports non-conformances.
• Helps maintain a clean and safe work area and adheres to quality policies.
