Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a 1st shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, M-F with some weekends) production associate at our Northlake, TX plant. You will set up and operate resistance spot welders and power presses to assemble metal, composite, or plastic stock according to job instructions.

Eligible employees start at $17.00 per hour with opportunities for growth. Responsibilities include quality checks, safety adherence, and timely completion of production paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours daily.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates resistance spot welders and power press equipment.
• Welds, trims, punches, shapes, notches, draws, or crimps metal, composite, or plastic stock.
• Inspects parts for conformance and reports non-conformances to a supervisor or quality inspector.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area; follows safety and environmental requirements.
• Completes and turns in required paperwork and tags to track product flow.
