Job summary
BHCC is seeking an ELL Course Facilitator to provide high-quality English language instruction to adult learners. The role supports the development of reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills that prepare students for postsecondary education, workforce training, and civic engagement, aligning with MA ELPS across proficiency levels.
Instructors collaborate with the Adult Education leadership team to promote persistence, achievement, successful transitions, and continuous program
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English, Education, or related field.
- Experience teaching English language learners or adult learners, including online instruction.
- Ability to teach in person at Chelsea or Charlestown campus.
Responsibilities
- Align curriculum with MA ELPS and program outcomes.
- Implement curriculum with differentiated instruction and accessible resources.
- Use instructional technology to support learning and maintain records.
- Collaborate with Adult Education leadership for program improvement.
