Job summary

Cosmo is seeking experienced tutors to teach ESL students based in Asia, offering a flexible schedule that you set. The role involves providing personalized 1-on-1 lessons in a supportive learning environment, requiring a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of K-12 teaching experience. You will prepare lesson materials, update your availability, and communicate professionally with students and parents. Compensation includes a base rate of $20 USD per session with incentives. Candidates must be reliable, patient, and passionate about education.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1.
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for students.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
