Job summary

Bristol Community College in Fall River, MA seeks a part-time Special Programs Coordinator for ESL to support testing, orientation, advising, and student engagement within the School of Languages, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and ≥3 years related experience in academic environments or program management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and multilingual learners.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for prospective ESL students and guide admissions and placement testing.
• Coordinate ESL placement testing and assist with new student orientations.
• Support ESL student engagement, persistence, and success initiatives.
• Assist in planning advising initiatives and student success programs.
• Help navigate college services and coordinate ESL activities and events.
