Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Massachusetts DESE ESL license preferred.
• SEI Endorsement preferred.
• Teaching experience in the content area preferred.
• Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, or an African Language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Remain up to date regarding curriculum content.
• Plan and assess curriculum and instruction effectively.
• Mentor students’ understanding of the curriculum and adjust instruction as needed.
• Manage classroom environment effectively.
• Deliver instruction with clear goals and appropriate questioning techniques.
• Use innovative approaches and technologies to increase student learning.
• Promote high standards and equity in student learning.
• Provide equal educational opportunities regardless of race, color, gender, age, religion, national origin, or disability.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
