Job summary

Valent Group is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for their Osage, IA facility. In this role, you will support EHS initiatives, ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and assist in training programs.

Preferred candidates will have at least 3 years of EHS experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and OSHA certification. The position offers comprehensive healthcare benefits and a 401(k) contribution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA compliance and recordkeeping.
• Demonstrated ability to use standard office software programs.

Responsibilities

• Support EHS Manager to achieve EHS goals.
• Serve as a point of contact for EHS daily activities.
• Assist with new hire orientation on safety rules.
